  • SSC typing tests: compare CHSL LDC/JSA typing, CGL DEST and Stenographer transcription. Their tasks and timers differ.
  • RRB NTPC CBTST: for the specified clerical and accounts posts. The profile separates the 2025 notices from detailed CEN 06/2024 instructions.
  • MP CPCT: English and Hindi typing alongside a computer-knowledge assessment. This site practises the typing component.
  • PSSSB Clerk: English and Punjabi practice. Advertisement 02/2026 and the historic typing instruction sheets have different scopes; read the PSSSB rules guide.
  • UPSSSC Junior Assistant: the source establishes speed requirements, while several practice mechanics remain unconfirmed.
  • Court typing tests: choose the particular court and post. There is no single High Court or district-court typing format.

Compare requirements without mixing recruitment cycles

The 32-profile requirements directory lists the simulator's languages, targets and timers beside its source notes. Use it to find a profile, then read the dated notice linked there. A practice timer is not proof of an official duration.

For example, SSC evaluation rules distinguish full and half mistakes. Other bodies count words or errors differently. The generic scoring guide explains the measures without making one formula universal.

Start at the right level

If you are still searching for keys, use keyboard lessons. If you can copy a short passage comfortably, take a complete attempt with the correct layout. Review omitted words, spacing and repeated mistakes before the next test.

Keep the duration, language and scoring model the same when comparing attempts. Use unfamiliar passages as well as repeated drills; memorising one passage can hide reading mistakes.
