Aditya Typing alternative: an honest comparison

If you are looking for Aditya Typing, it is at adityatyping.online and it is free. This page is for deciding whether it is the right one for you. The two sites are unusually similar: both are exam-preset typing simulators with a comparable exam list. The differences are language coverage, whether the rules are traced to a notification, and whether you can practise offline.

What Aditya Typing does better

Two things worth naming.

Every exam gets its own rules page. Each test has a separate about page, so the rules have a URL of their own instead of sitting inside a practice page. That is a genuinely good structure and easier to link to.

It lets you download passages as a PDF. If you want to practise from paper, or away from the browser, that is a real convenience we do not offer.

What this site does that it does not

It cites the notices. Each exam page links the notification it was built from and gives the clause. On the SSC pages that extends to the Commission's own evaluation guidelines, set out in how SSC counts typing test mistakes. Where a figure is not in an official document, we label it a practice setting instead of stating it as a rule.

It covers four typing languages. English, Hindi, Punjabi and Marathi, across six practice layouts. Aditya Typing is English and Hindi. If you need Punjabi typing, that is the deciding difference.

It runs offline. The Windows app on the Microsoft Store uses the same exam presets and the same activation, which matters if your practice time is somewhere with poor connectivity.

It has more exam profiles and deeper passage banks: 32 profiles and 1,400 passages.

Which one to use

Use Aditya Typing if you want printable passages, or you only need English and Hindi and prefer its per-exam rules pages.

Use this site if you need Punjabi or Marathi, want the rules traced to the actual notification, want a desktop app for offline practice, or want an exam profile it does not carry.

Both are free to start, so trying both costs nothing but time.
